 Rose
Ferlita has a rich family history in Tampa.
Born and raised in Ybor
City, she worked in her family's business,
Ferlita Bakery, which is now
the site of the Ybor State
Museum. Rose attended high school at the Academy of the Holy Names.
She
left Tampa only to attend Loyola University in New Orleans, LA to
complete her undergraduate studies and the University of Florida in
Gainesville
to complete her graduate studies at the College of Pharmacy.
Rose's business experience is well-balanced having served for 18 years
in the corporate world with Eckerd Corporation and CVS/ProCare. In 1984,
she founded Rose Drugs, Inc. where she has been serving the pharmacy
needs of the Seminole Heights community and others for more than 20
years.
