I had the pleasure of meeting with you and speaking with you in August during the United Voices political leadership training. The training and discussion with all of you sparked my efforts to become more involved in my community, and I am now the Co-Chair of our Sexual Violence Task Force of Tampa Bay. . . . . . I would like to personally invite you to our event, Take Back the Night on April 17th in Old Hyde Park Village. This is an event to raise awareness of sexual violence, declare intolerance of violence, and voice support for survivors. . . . . . I want to thank you for again for sparking my interests to become more politically and community involved, and ask that you join us in sparking awareness against sexual violence. . . . Commissioner Ferlita,
I wanted to take a moment and thank you for attending our homeowners. meeting last week (Sunset Park Area Homeowners. Assn.). We appreciate your visits and that you listen to issues that concern our neighbors. On a personal note, it was nice talking with a fellow Academy alum.

I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your support and vote to transfer Cone Ranch to ELAPP for book value, thereby allowing the County to permanently preserve and restore this environmentally sensitive land. It was a happy day for all of Hillsborough County and certainly for me.
