Dear Ms. Ferlita,
I was in attendance at today.s BOCC Land Use Meeting at which RZ 09-0779 was considered. I must admit that as the meeting ensued, I got the feeling that this request for rezoning on behalf of applicant Vincent Marchetti would be a "slam dunk " so to speak in favor of the applicant. . . . . and you soon followed with your concern for lack of existing infrastructure, that I began to feel the commissioners we elected were listening to their constituents and taking into account the concerns expressed by them during that meeting.

I wish to thank you for the time you have given this issue, in an attempt to understand all side of the issue. Thank you for recognizing that in this case, at this time, commercial development is not in the best interest of the community surrounding the plot involved. That is not to say that at some point in time the infrastructure will be in place and this issue will then be revisited. Thank you for saying "NO" to RZ 09-0779.

I was one of the speakers in opposition to RZ 09-0779 at yesterday's BOCC meeting. I wanted to thank you for your time and consideration yesterday on RZ 09-0779. We submitted quite a lot of evidence into the record so I'm sure this took quite a bit of your time to sort through. Thank you again for supporting our Community.
