Please relay my thanks to Commissioner Ferlita. You have both been examples of excellent public servants. Over the past few days I have received communication from representatives of the county and state on the issues I raised with you. I would like to commend Captain Parker of HCSO in particular for his response. After a phone call from him I got calls from his patrol supervisor in reference to the speeding problems, from his drug enforcement supervisor in reference to suspected drug activity, and from his Community Relations officer who alerted us to an excellent meeting for apartment/condo managers held this morning. I believe this initiative will be the start of increased cooperation between our association and County agencies. Thanks again for your efforts on our behalf.

I’d like to thank you for your vote against TaxWatch analyzing the county finances. It was clearly the right decision and I am disappointed that you were the only commissioner to realize that and vote against it. I am once again grateful to you for doing the right thing and proud to have you as a Hillsborough County Commissioner. Keep up the good work.

It seems absurd that one would have to ask the county commissioners to help enforce a law. . . until you consider that firework companies have donated to your campaigns, with the usual noteworthy and impressive exception of Ms. Ferlita. Guys, we notice more than you think we do..
